Greetings all!! My name is Jeff and I'm building a KOTP K.I.T.T. Some of you may know me as kittesvsr71 from the foundation board and I used to go to the registries but not anymore. That place just went downhill and I never went back - not even deactivated my account there.
I want to thank ivirscar for his electronics and also to Billy aka Custom KITT - both for letting me know about this board.
I'm in NC and have a 1984 trans am nearly completed exterior conversion at least. My project began in 2000 so now here we are with the project going for almost 10 years now. Also if anyone is looking for any parts let me know what you need b/c I have some extra parts I will not be needing or will be upgrading to and I want these to go to a good home. These can be found in the For Sale section.
Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and oh yeah I also invited my friend Joe aka jknightandkarr to join as well. Currently he's awaiting approval.
Thanks all and its great to be a part of this board!! Jeff

Welcome, and I'm also from NC, actually, me and Brenon are about a mile apart from each other. Hmmm, that was hard who I was going to go with for electronics...Hmmm... JJ.. In all seriousness, welcome and I hope you enjoy it here. We will HAVE to have a cruise in and get some of these car nuts together . Anyway. Have a good one and talk with ya later

Hey, mine's an 84 also! Don't feel bad about it taking 10 years. Mine has resided on jackstands for the last three years! LOL! But good things take time. Last time I checked, Rome wasn't built in a day. So it just makes sense that these cars shouldn't be built in a day either. Besides that, with all the strides being made with better and more functional products coming out, what was out ten years ago is long out of date. Just in the four or five years that I've been hanging around on the boards, there have been leaps and bounds made in areas of functionality, fit, and accuracy. So much so, that it's hard to fathom how many more improvements can be made.
Welcome to The Zone!!! (I feel like a d@#ned Auto Zone commercial! LOL!)
