The front nose. Not the nose itself, but the finishing / painting of it. I'm considering the purchase of a nose 'out of the mold', and since I know nothing about how these things get sanded / prepped, I'll have to have a body shop do all the work (I'll just install it on the car).
I know things vary depending on where you live, but what do you guys think is a reasonable price for a body-shop to fix up and paint an 'out of the mold' bumper?
THANKS!

Again, that depends on what condition is considered "out of mold." That can be a real grey area. Some consider out of mold to have air bubbles that need filled, sanded down, then prepped for paint. Others consider out of mold to be what others refer to as "ready to paint." It will vary from vendor to vendor on what OUT OF MOLD really means.
Worse case scenario? Plan on having filling, sanding, and prep needing done to it. A guy like me would charge around 3 to 4 hundred depending on how bad the nose is. Others might charge more or less. That's kind of a grey question if you want me to be honest.

Yeah I hear ya ripper. I decided to fork over the extra few hundred and purchase a primed / ready to paint nose. Figured it would be less of a hassle and, though expensive, would end up being cheaper than having a local body shop do it. Guess we'll have to wait and see what the final outcome is!
